JACOPO is a withdrawn and surly student living far from home in a bare apartment shared with other flatmates. His university studies fail to engage him, and his social life never really took off. As a result, he spends his days procrastinating, drifting between his computer and phone, consumed by compulsive media bingeing that disrupts his sleep-wake cycle. Behind a mask of apathy and indifference, his mental balance begins to deteriorate definitively: during a hallucinatory night, a terrifying nightmare starts to haunt him—growing more intense each time—until it begins to blur the boundaries between dream and reality. In this liminal space between dream and reality Jacopo will realize he can no longer run from his fears.
