On Sunday, September 29th, the Picentia Short Film Festival hosts Gennaro Silvestro. Born in Naples in 1981, he took his first steps in the practical theatre workshop directed by Gaetano Liguori at Teatro Totò in Naples. Fame came with the role of agent Francesco Silla in the RAI 3 series "La squadra" and its spin-off "La nuova squadra". Since 2017, he has played the role of Francesco Romano in the series "I bastardi di Pizzofalcone". He made his big-screen debut in 2001 in "Luna rossa", directed by Antonio Capuano. In 2021 he appeared in the comedy "Benvenuti in casa Esposito", freely adapted from Pino Imperatore's novel of the same name.
