For the Masterclass section, with his two-day "Cinema Master" workshop, the first guest we announce is Pietro De Silva! His extraordinary talent has led him to work with the best professionals in Italy. His career, always split between small screen, big screen and theatre, began in the 1980s with films such as "Il Minestrone" by S. Citti, "Sing Sing" by S. Corbucci and "La Nave va" by F. Fellini. Over the years, increasingly important roles followed: Roberto Benigni chose him for the masterpiece "Life Is Beautiful", in which De Silva plays Bartolomeo, a prisoner in the concentration camp. He has since appeared in "Don't Move" by Sergio Castellitto, "My Mother's Smile" by Marco Bellocchio, and many others. He has also starred in successful TV series including I delitti del barlume (Sky), Boris, Il giovane Montalbano, and La Squadra. He is currently a professor of "Acting for the Camera" at the Laboratorio di Arti Sceniche directed by Massimiliano Bruno.
