The first masterclass of the eighth edition of PSFF features Adriana Apicella. An expert in digital journalism and audiovisual economics, she is General Director of CONFASSOCIAZIONI and Executive Vice President of the Entertainment Cinema Theatre branch. She graduated with top honours in both Foreign Languages and Literatures (artistic-critical track) and Communication Sciences (mass communications track), with experimental theses in cinema in both cases. Registered with the Order of Journalists since 1996, she has curated numerous spaces dedicated to cinema and theatre, served as editor-in-chief of industry publications, and created and hosted television formats, also working for RAI, Mediaset, SKY, the Privacy Authority, and COVIP. She teaches Audiovisual Business Management and Digital Journalism and Communication at SSML Gregorio VII, and Audiovisual Languages and Techniques: Film Commissions at SSML San Domenico. A certified Level I Professional Communicator since 2015, she has received the Special Prize for Information Culture, the Books for Peace Award (Culture section, 2021), and the 2024 Sustainability Awards.
