This year too, Picentia is not only about filmmaking, but also literature. The first guest of Picentia Books is Andrea Picariello. Born in Battipaglia in 1997, Andrea Picariello is a journalist covering crime, politics and entertainment for various local and national outlets. His debut work is "Nudo" (Naked), an autobiographical novel published by Saggese Editori that details Andrea's bariatric surgery journey β from the first consultation with the surgeon, through psychoanalysis and nutritional re-education, to the operation and first steps in his new life. His motivation: the desire to leave behind a body that never quite matched the soul it contained, crushed under the weight of one hundred and forty kilos.
