Picentia Books hosts Roberta Fuorvia, a curator specialising in contemporary photography, author of "BEHIND THE ICONS" (Martin Eden Edizioni). "BEHIND THE ICONS" is a project born in 2018 as a series of short lectures on iconic photographs of the twentieth century, which evolved into a publishing project. Among the exhibitions curated by Roberta Fuorvia: Il Real Albergo dei Poveri by G. De Luca (MANN β National Archaeological Museum of Naples, 2023), Apice by V. Laureano (Italian Cultural Institute, SΓ£o Paulo, Brazil, 2019), In your Place by L. Bastianini (Circulation(s) festival, Paris, 2017), The Phone Book by R. Herman (LO.FT. gallery, Lecce, 2015). Since 2016 she has taught photographic editing at CFI β Centro di Fotografia Indipendente in Naples. She is co-founder of THE DOCKS association, curator of the Passepartout Photo Prize since 2020, and iconographic researcher for the Natural History Museum of Oman since 2023.
