Rosario Gallone is a guest of Picentia Books with "HISTORY OF BLACK CINEMA. FROM THE ORIGINS TO TODAY.", an essay in which the author reconstructs the history of Black Cinema, providing a complete overview of its evolution to the present day. Rosario Gallone is among the founders of the Pigrecoemme School of Cinema and Photography, where he teaches Directing and Film Analysis and Criticism. In his career he has worked as director, screenwriter and editor. Since 2018 he has been artistic director of Situazione Critica, a festival dedicated to film criticism, as well as creator and host of the podcast Decisione Critica. He is the author of numerous essays and writes regularly for the monthly magazine Nocturno.
