<p>The acclaimed actor, director, and writer Sergio Assisi will be a guest at the ninth edition of the Picentia Short Film Festival!</p><p>On Sunday, September 28, in Piazza Aldo Moro in Battipaglia (at 8:30 PM), Assisi will receive the Picentia Award City of Battipaglia, a special honor celebrating his career across cinema, theater, and television.</p><p>Trained at the Academy of Dramatic Arts of the Bellini Theatre in Naples, he made his film debut in Lina Wertmüller's <em>Ferdinando and Carolina</em>, before starring in major television hits such as <em>Capri</em>, <em>Elisa di Rivombrosa</em>, and <em>Inspector Nardone</em>. In recent years, we have seen him alongside Gigi Proietti in <em>Bulletproof Heart</em> (<em>Una pallottola nel cuore</em>) and in Rai TV series like <em>L'Allieva 3</em> and Fausto Brizzi's <em>Gloria</em>.</p><p>As a director and author, he created <em>A Napoli non piove mai</em> and recently <em>Il mio regno per una farfalla</em>, released in 2024, in addition to gracing stages with highly successful theatrical productions.</p><p>An unmissable event for our audience, who will get to experience live the magic and talent of one of the most beloved figures in Italian entertainment.</p>
